These snares offer a birch shell, producing sounds that jump out with powerful attack and fat mid-range. All drums include 1.6mm triple flanged hoops. The 5" x 14" and 5" x 13" feature 8 lugs; the 5" x 12" and 5" x 10" have 6 lugs and a side tom mount that allows for easy placement for secondary snare applications. The finely crafted Stage Custom Birch Snare Drum delivers great sensitivity, attack, and depth. These drums are 100 percent Birch, which offers a cutting low-end sound, and a wide tuning range.
