In 1980, Istanbul’s founder and legendary Turkish cymbalsmith, Agop
Tomurcuk, paired with business partner Mehmet Tamdeger under the name
‘Zilciler', and later changed the name to Istanbul. Istanbul provides
high-end, original, while still employing the traditional methods of
cymbal manufacturing. Many inventive designs are in their product line
today, such as Turk, Sultan, Vezir, Empire, Ottoman and Pasha. Istanbul
offers several series of cymbals providing sounds for virtually any
type of music. |
