In 1883 Friedrich Gretsch established the Gretsch musical instrument business in a small shop in Brooklyn and a heritage was born. In the following 125 years, Gretsch Drums has blossomed to develop a musical legacy featuring industry innovations, a hall of fame endorsement roster and, of course, that great Gretsch sound. The raw shell of this 125th Anniversary Vineyard Snare has beautifully aged to provide a fullness of tone uncommon in a modern drum. Historically correct vintage features include a Gretsch Round Badge, lightning throw-off, classic Gretsch lugs, and the unique 30° Gretsch bearing edge-all made with the original factory machines! Combined with die-cast hoops and wrapped in a lustrous Champagne Sparkle finish, these time-machine drums effortlessly produce that great Gretsch sound.
