Ford Drums, based in Santa Ana, CA builds high-end custom drum sets
and snare drums. Ford Drums is the collaboration of drummer Jimmy Ford,
Jay Gaylen, and production manager Steve Rue. Their drums feature
beautiful lacquered finishes, varying bearing edges dependent on the
size of the drum, and top-quality hardware. Shells can be selected
from: North American Maple, North American Birch, African
Mahogany/Poplar, Carbon Fiber, Acrylic, or Ford Organic Series (Approx.
5/8" thick, one-piece, steam bent) from a huge selection of hardwoods.
